Sometimes it's the little simple things in life we remember.
one of my earlier memories is of a cloth quiet book I had for church. My mom might say it wasnt anything really impressive but the memories I have of it are found ones that i would like to pass onto my own children. So I am doing just that.
STEP ONE: Research & a little inspiration
I did some research online, mainly just googled some pics of quiet books to get some ideas of some pages i might make for mine.
Once I started doing this my imagination mixed with my crazy pregnancy dreams came out a flood of ideas so i got them on paper. which leads to..
STEP TWO: Outline
Sketch it, write it, whateveer, just remember you dont have to be Van Gough!
Everything you do must have a plan an outline of some sort or at least an idea of what you want the end product to look like, and what it will take to get there.
STEP THREE: Gathering
Gather materials whatever they may be, your outline should help you know what you need to make your craft. Now all you have to do it start putting it together
STEP FOUR: Putin' it together
Put it together sew paste color draw whatever it may be do it. remember to have fun. Doing a craft should never feel like work or be stressful, If it becomes so take a break and move on to something differnt.
STEP FIVE: Enjoy
ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY. relish and remember to compliment yourself on a job well done becasue being a mother and trying to find time to do something other than wiping runnny noses and poopy bottoms is difficult in the first place, so if your craft dosent turn out perfect or quite the way you imagined it just, dont worry because like myself and my Memories of my quiet book, although my Mom says it was not impressive or well made It was very special to me asit will be to my children.
